The Cottage at Featherstone is a charming cottage in the woods.  This newly constructed home features an open floor plan with soaring 22’ vaulted tongue & groove ceilings, and woodwork stained a warm dark walnut, distressed hickory wood floors and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.  The home is decorated in warm colors of pale gold, browns and blue. 

The main living area is 2,000 sq. ft. with a 1,200 sq. ft. finished basement.  It sleeps up to 10.  A main floor master bedroom features a large King size Wood & Wrought Iron Bed, with ‘en suite tiled bath featuring an incredible open walk-in shower, and double vanity copper sinks.  There is also a full wall of built-in cabinetry. 

Two Bedrooms are located upstairs.  One features a large King Size Wood & Wrought Iron Bed with ‘en suite tiled bath, shower/tub combination and pedestal sink.  The third bedroom features a Queen size four poster bed, ‘en suite tiled bath with shower and pedestal sink.   And, the finished basement has two alpine log twin beds, bath with tiled shower and sink, and entertainment area with queen sleeper sofa that if used will allow this home to sleep 10.  

Décor is upscale rustic with leather sofas, recliners, imported rugs and mission style furnishings.

The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, a Bosch dual fuel range with gas cooktop, dishwasher, mircrowave, refrigerator, and wet bar with beverage refrigerator.  The dining area seats 8. 

The outdoor living area is the reason you will come visit.  A two story timber covered porch with outdoor fireplace looks out into the woods.  You can sit and enjoy the sound of water meandering in the stream, and rock away, forgetting the stresses of life.  

This home features DirecTV satellite with two 42” TV’s as well as TV’s in each bedroom.  Wireless High Speed DSL internet service is provided.
